How AeviraLife Longevity works

AeviraLife makes it easy to gain earlier insight into your health and track important health risks over time.

These benefits are paid for by your employer or health plan, unless you want to order additional tests for yourself at your own expense.

  1. Confirm you’re covered

Log in to AeviraLife to confirm your eligibility and coverage. No extra paperwork. If AeviraLife is included in your health plan, we’ll guide you through your covered benefits and next steps. No cost to you, unless you decide to request additional tests.

  2. Take your first tests

Once logged in to AeviraLife, schedule your appointment and fill out a short survey so we can interpret the lab results correctly. Then complete your AeviraLife lab testing at a participating laboratory. Your tests look for important health risks that may be present before symptoms appear.

  3. Personalized Insights

Your results are brought together in an easy-to-understand AeviraLife report. See your results the moment they’re ready and watch your numbers move as you make changes. You’ll see what your results mean, where potential risks were identified, and steps you can consider taking next.

At your request, results may also be sent to your PCP.

  4. Track Your Health Over Time

Health changes over time—and your results can, too. AeviraLife helps you follow key health measures over time, see changes in your risk profile, and make more informed decisions about your health.

Earlier insight. Greater awareness. More opportunity to act.

In more detail

What actually happens at each step

Confirming you are covered

You give three things off your benefits card: your name, your date of birth, and the last six digits of your member ID. That is checked against your plan's eligibility file. There is no password to create and no account to set up first — if you are covered, you are in.

If your organization does not offer AeviraLife, you will be told plainly, and you can order the panel yourself instead.

Getting your blood drawn

One draw covers every marker in your panel. You pick a lab near you and either book a slot or walk in, depending on the lab. A physician authorizes the order — you do not need to visit one first, and you do not need a referral.

Whether you need to fast beforehand depends on your panel, and we will tell you when you book and again the day before. [SOURCE NEEDED] Preparation requirements per marker are owed by Aevira and the lab.

Reading what came back

Every marker lands in one of three bands: in range, watch, or out of range. Each one is explained in plain language, in the context of what you told us about your health. You get a summary written for you, and a version written for your doctor.

This is education, not diagnosis. Anything out of range comes with the same advice: talk to your provider.

Doing it again next year

A single set of numbers is a snapshot. The same numbers a year later are a direction, and direction is what actually tells you something. Your results stay yours, so each draw lands on the same history.

You keep your results whether or not you keep the same employer or plan.

What it costs you

Nothing, where your employer or health plan has bought the benefit. There is no copay, no deductible and no card to enter. If you want tests beyond the covered panel, or your organization does not offer AeviraLife, you can order the panel yourself.
